Save the Date - London Dinner 2017

HoClogoI have great pleasure in announcing that next year's London Dinner will take place on Friday 12th May in the Churchill Room, House of Commons.  The event is open to all Old Blackburnians and their guests.  We are very privileged indeed to be dining in one of the world's most iconic buildings.  The Churchill Room, named after our formidable ex-Prime Minister, boasts an extraordinary view of the Thames.

Further information will follow shortly, however, as this is likely to be an especially popular event, you may wish to reserve a ticket as soon as possible - tickets will be strictly first come, first served.

A former private school, QEGS is now a 4-19 co-educational free school. This is a state-funded independent school so, while we
no longer charge fees, we retain
an independent-school ethos,
placing strong emphasis on high
academic standards, exemplary
behaviour and extra-curricular
commitment. This combination,
as we know from our 500 years
of experience, is a guarantee of
success, as our results show
year after year.
