It is the ideal choice for those wanting an independent education for free.

From Infants and Juniors to Senior and Sixth Form, Pastoral Care is at the heart of all that we do at QEGS. Nothing is more important than the happiness of your child and we know that children are more able to learn when they are content.

From 1509 to 1976, QEGS was a boys' school, but it is now a completely coeducational school which provides outstanding education for both boys and girls.

The Sixth Form at QEGS is the ideal platform to help students progress to further education in a professional way. High quality teaching in an academic environment produces excellent results and prepares students for life beyond QEGS.

Our Alumni are many and varied. The Old Blackburnians hold events throughout the year and continue to support the school financially and with help and advice through networking.
