National Storytelling Week 2016

An abundance of stories, activities, a storytelling competition and even an author visit took place in the School Library to help celebrate National Storytelling Week and raise much awareness for the art and love of storytelling itself.

Let them eat cake

There appears to be an ongoing theme to our Library events in recent weeks.

Soon after the start of term it was a cake sale in aid of the Roald Dahl charity and, to celebrate National Poetry Day, it was a Poetry Picnic with lots of poems and, you've guessed it, cakes!

Book ends

A group of students recently visited Blackburn Central Library to take part in the annual tour/end of year celebrations and to join in with the presentation of awards.
