QEGS Christmas Concert - Friday 8th December. Start time 7.30pm.

The choir and jazz band will be performing along with the Lancashire Schools Jazz Orchestras.

Tickets are bought on the door. Prices are £5 for adults and £3 for concessions, this includes a mince pie and tea/coffee. 

This will be a wonderful night of music so please come and support!

Let them eat cake

There appears to be an ongoing theme to our Library events in recent weeks.

Soon after the start of term it was a cake sale in aid of the Roald Dahl charity and, to celebrate National Poetry Day, it was a Poetry Picnic with lots of poems and, you've guessed it, cakes!

Book ends

A group of students recently visited Blackburn Central Library to take part in the annual tour/end of year celebrations and to join in with the presentation of awards.
