The next Sixth Form Open Evening will be held on Tuesday 26 September between 5pm and 9pm 

Main School Open Day will be held on Saturday 7 October between 9.30am and 1.30pm

There is no need to book a place - just arrive on the day and allow enough time to look around!

 The Bunker Diary written by Kevin Brooks wins the Carnegie Medal for 2014.

It's true!

Without a word of a lie, National Non-Fiction Day, was a great success yesterday when Head of Library, Mrs Dewhurst launched the Dewey competition - with a chance to win a copy of the Guinness World Book of Records 2015.

National Non-Fiction Day is an annual celebration of all things factual.The day celebrates all those readers that have a passion for information and facts and attempts to bring non-fiction celebration in line with those of fiction.

National Poetry Day

 

The Library, the English Department and the Art Department all came together to celebrate National Poetry Day on October 2nd helping to raise awareness of this key date in the school calendar.

The theme this year was 'Remember' and indeed students and staff were able to remember and share their stories and favourite poems throughout the day, encouraged by the English Department and the Library.
