The next Sixth Form Open Evening will be held on Tuesday 26 September between 5pm and 9pm 

Main School Open Day will be held on Saturday 7 October between 9.30am and 1.30pm

There is no need to book a place - just arrive on the day and allow enough time to look around!

Sports Results for Week Beginning 12 June

Cricket

vs AKS Lytham:

U15's lost by 6 wickets to AKS who were 106 for 4, QEGS 105 for 4 (Mattie Holden 64)

U14's : QEGS were 121 for 3 (Ali Musa 35*, Tom Clarke), AKS 25 all out.  QEGS won by 96 runs

U13's : QEGS lost by 4 wickets

U12's : AKS were 22 all out (M Cunningham 4 for 1), QEGS 23 for 1.  QEGS won by 9 wickets

U12B team -s- Eden Park : QEGS lost by 4 wickets

U13's -vs- Eden Park : QEGS won by 50 runs

In the LSCA Cup Quarter Finals, U12;s -vs_ Bolton School : QEGS lost by 80 runs and in the U13's -vs- Manchester Grammar School, QEGS lost by 9 by 9 wickets.

Rossall School 6's Competition:

QEGS Year 7 entered this competition due to Year 8 being on an exam timetable.   They tied against Giggleswick, lost against Rossall, St Mary's and Windermere.  Despite the defeats, a good day was had by all!

QEGS Performance of the Week goes to ......... the U12 and U13 squads who, despite defeats, seeded the quarter finals of the County Cup Competition.  An excellent achievement!

Did you know........

Mr Cordwell is a member of the Team GB Masters squad, competing in the British Championship this weekend?......He will also be competing in the European Championships in Denmark in July.......AND.......he is rated 3rd in the country for long jump, 14th in the 400m hurdles, 20th in the 100m sprint and 22nd in the 200m sprint!!
