Sports Results for Week Beginning 23 January 2017

Football

Matches at almost every age level were enjoyed this week.  Our 1st XI won 7-2, 2nd XI lost 6-0, U15's won 6-2, U14's drew 3-3, U13's won 10-2 and U12A drew 1-1

The Senior team match against AKS Lytham resulted in losses of 2-1 for both the 1st and 2nd XI - a close call for both teams.

Football

Results against Liverpool College were all pretty close - 1st XI won 2-1, 2nd XI lost 1-0, U15's lost 2-1, U14's lost 3-2, U13's won 3-0, U12a lost 6-2 and U12b lost 6-0.

The match against Stonyhurst was a 1st XI win of 1-0 and a 2nd XI loss of 3-2.

The matches scheduled to be played against St Bede's Manchester were unfortunately all cancelled this week.

Swimming

The Bolton Fastwater Gala was a challenging event for our U15, U14 and U13 squads, finishing 4th overall against Ripley St Thomas, Bolton, Sandbach, Hutton Grammar School and Bolton School.   Well done everyone.

The 2017 sporting calendar commenced on Saturday 7 January with netball matches against our friends The Kings School, Chester.

The U15's lost 37-8, U14's lost 34-32, U13's won 21-17 and the U12's won 38-0.  Well done everyone on braving the challenges of both the cold and dense fog!
