Sports Results for Week Beginning 2 January 2017

The 2017 sporting calendar commenced on Saturday 7 January with netball matches against our friends The Kings School, Chester.

The U15's lost 37-8, U14's lost 34-32, U13's won 21-17 and the U12's won 38-0.  Well done everyone on braving the challenges of both the cold and dense fog!

Sports Results for Week Beginning 12 December

Swimming

The teams achieved great results against Bury Grammar School with wins for U15, U14 and U13 teams, together with a draw for the U12's, givng an overall win of 163 points to 141 - well done everyone!

Netball

Year 9 won 24-4 against Our Lady & St John's in the Blackburn with Darwen League - another fantastic result!

Sports Results for Week Beginning 5 December

Football

Heavy losses and big wins were made against Manchester Grammar School, as follows:

1st XI lost 2-1, 2nd XI lost 5-0, U15's won 6-1, U14's lost 7-1, U13's won 10-1, U12a lost 6-1 and U12b lost 5-1

Against Rossall School, our1st XI team won 2-0 and our 2nd XI team won 2-1 against their 3rd XI team.

Sports Results from Week Beginning 28 November 2016

Football

The first XI -vs- Hutton Grammar School won 3-0 and the 2nd XI lost to Birkenhead 4-0.

The Year 7 lost 6-2 in the LSFA Cup Round 2 -vs- Lytham HS.

Swimming

Senior Boys, Senior Girls and the U15's teams all won their matches, the U14's lost, U13's drew and U12's lost.  All in all the teams came away with an overall result of 165, just being pipped to the post by 11 points, with a Westholme win of 176.   Well done to everyone who took part.
